Ladies and Gentlemen, Brothers and Sisters, Mesdames et Messieurs, prepare yourselves for this auspicious occasion.
I'm blogging again.
Yes, the blog has been reborn! And, unlike my previous blog, which focused primarily on maintaining New Years Resolutions past January 2nd, and my previous previous blog, which focused primarily on God-related things, this blog claims as its unifying thread nothing more than myself, and my current situation as a young adult embarking on a new career path in a new city.
Suffice to say, this blog could be about practically anything. And it likely will be about practically anything that I feel like writing about.
In case you have no idea what is currently going on in my life (an unlikely situation, since everyone who read my last blog knew me personally or knew someone that I knew), I'll provide a quick life update, mostly for the sake of lengthening this post and setting the stage for the scenes that will henceforth fill your browser window. Almost one month ago, I moved across the country, from Texas to Tennessee, to start a new job as a children's pastor at a local United Methodist Church. Now, newly graduated, newly employed, and newly arrived to a new city, I'm enjoying life as a full-fledged adult. That is to say, an adult who works a 40-hour week, doesn't have homework to do, and goes to bed at a reasonable hour (most nights). I'm also building up a new life in a new city, meeting new people and going new places and trying new things.
I must say, I'm enjoying it so far. And at the urging of several people, I've decided to pick up blogging again to chronicle these adventures in young adulthood.
So check back regularly for updates. It's good to be writing again...
